🛠️ Solidarity groundbreaking for the Raid Evolénard: ProVTT is committed to young cyclists 🛠️
The Raid Evolénard, an unmissable classic on the Valais mountain bike calendar, is preparing to host a new edition under the banner of dynamism and conviviality. Held every year in Evolène, this unifying event attracts both amateurs and seasoned competitors, thanks to its varied routes, warm atmosphere, and magnificent alpine landscapes. A true showcase for regional mountain biking, the race is also renowned for its involvement with young cyclists, with courses specially designed for the future stars of the Valais peloton.
On May 28, 2024, ProVTT Valais stepped up to help the Raid Evolénard organization by setting up a temporary technical area dedicated to young participants. For an entire morning, three members of ProVTT, supported by teams from Trailworks and the CyclingAcademy Valais, joined forces to create fun and educational obstacles on the youth course.
This collaboration perfectly illustrates the spirit of synergy that drives the Valais mountain bike community. By combining expertise—from trail design to sports coaching—the volunteers were able to transform this participatory project into a truly shared experience. Objective: To offer young cyclists a stimulating and safe playground to introduce them to the technical subtleties of riding and hone their talents.
